Landlords with property income over £50,000 must maintain digital records and submit quarterly updates. Dropping to £30,000 from April 2027. Penalties up to £1,000 per filing period.

Renters' Rights Act

Section 21 'no-fault' evictions abolished from 1 May 2026. Landlord Ombudsman introduced. Property portal created. Every dispute now requires documented evidence of fair process.
